Given that our most valued asset is our human capital we have invested significantly towards their development with the aim of strengthening their individual technical and leadership capabilities. We believe firmly in succession planning, the notion of promoting from within and consistent training and development. For the period 2009 to 2013, Hydro tech has recorded a 25% workforce increase even in the face of global economic contraction, a speculative outlook toward improvement and some reduction in the activities of major operators. Additionally, over one million dollars was committed to staff training and development in 2013, because we recognize the leaders of tomorrow must be equipped today.

Over 65% of Hydro Tech’s 400 personnel originate from the Mayaro / Gauyaguayare area.
Over the years Hydro tech have established several indigenous locations in the district being, Queens’s Beach Resort, Mayaro Tropical Guest House and D’ Neighborhood Grill.
Hydro Tech is also committed to the development of the community spirit through sport by our sponsorship of the professional football league champion team Guaya United.
Hydro Tech established a training program with the Youth Training Employment Partnership Program (YTEPP) where Hydro Tech staff provided on job training and guidance to young men and women in various fields such as welding fabrication and HSSE.
